ABOUT US
Company History
Electromex, Inc. was formed in Manila back in 1964 by a young engineer who designed and installed 2 way radios and communication systems for the Philippines Armed Forces and the U.S. Air force antenna systems in Clark Air Base as well as the U.S. Naval facilities in Subic.
For 30 years, Electromex has done microwave and radio systems for big firms such as San Miguel, Napocor, Meralco and others until the advent of the cell phone. SMS or "Text" messaging killed the 2 way radio industry back in the late 90s.
As a result, Electromex took on a specialized project of building customized air purification systems using "ozone" technology. The same technology that produces Ozone can be traced back to it roots in building telecommunications equipment that uses radio and light wave frequencies making it easy for the company to use locally developed techniques and materials.
Product Technology
The same ozone technology is being used to purify water borne diseases as well as in killing bacteria and odor causing germs, most applicable for emergency rooms, malls, schools, printing presses, movie houses, wet garbage rooms, restaurants, KTV, wet paint, hotels, and bars.
Electromex is the only local manufacturer who can build industrial grade ozone generators similar to the same equipment used at present in the gulf war for germ warfare control and such technologies as bird’s flu-, SARS- and Meningococcemia-dangerous air borne virus protection.
Incidentally, Electromex also builds the Philippines only (ultra) compact, low cost chemical free water refilling station using ozone technology, similar to the ozone water technology used by the Los Angeles Water District, and in countries like France and Switzerland, even the world’s largest water bottlers, Evian and Perrier.
Future endeavors
Electromex is continuously developing more ozone-related products for waste water treatment and cancer therapy medical applications and chlorine free swimming pool ozonators making it totally environmentally safe and cost effective.
